Henri heavyweight linen is a weighty linen fabric that will be wonderful sewn into coats, jackets, weighty skirts and trousers, or bags. 

A plain weave using relatively thick linen yarn and slightly open weave.  This gives a lovely rustic feel that will soft with wear and age.  There are slubs and irregularities throughout this natural fabric - these are not faults, but all part of its natural charm.  

Pattern matches that are on our list of projects to sew include the Landgate Jacket, Sanda Coat, September Coat, Workaday Apron, Orton Bag, Top 64, Juno Cullotes, Trapeze Dress or Shepherd Skirt

You may prefer to line this fabric if you are sensitive to touch or transparency.
