We've long wished (and searched)  for a high quality fine linen in colors - now we've got it - woo hoo!  This lovely linen is soft and supple and the colors are luscious!  Made by Silk City Fibers, Linen 14 has 7,000 yards per pound - which equates to approximately a 46/2 linen.  It will work well with our 35/2 linen or 16/1 linen from Bockens.  It is soft enough that it could be combined with a fine silk or cotton for scarves or yardage.   

The best flax fiber is grown in France and Belgium, Linen 14 flax is from France and was spun in China.

The cones vary in weight - 16oz - 20oz, and most cones weigh 18 ounces.

The scarf pictured is sett @ 28 epi.  The weft is 30/2 silk dyed by Redfish Dyeworks.  We also used Colcolastic #4006 to add a little extra interest.
