The Lydia is a duchess silk satin covered half moon base trimmed in silk white petals with a splash of pink added in.  The style has a slightly 60's flair and it would be easy to imagine a traditional veil tucked into the back of it.  Remove the veil post ceremony and you are left with a great reception piece. The hat secures via a small elastic under all the hair at the back of your neck.
