This is an excellent beginner piece, just 8 inches square. The kit includes the pattern hand-drawn on linen.

No need for a cutter, the kit has precut  strips of hand-dyed and of hand dyed and off the bolt wools. The strips are a medium width (6-cut, 1/4 inch)
